no, these are lung personifications of the five elements of Chinese alchemy: earth, air, fire, water, and wood.

very nice artwork, marc.

however, mon vieux, you should let the rest of us poor schlubs know where you find these gems.

and now, for my poor literary contribution to this thread...

Well ,here's a composite I made of two fractal designs from this site http://www.sgeier.net/fractals/indexe.php . There is some nice work on this site. In the composite , some shadowing was lost in the cloning process, however with what shadowing was left I tried to leave a perception of depth so as the dragon didn't look just pasted on.
