We haven't gotten around to it.  Mostly we all didn't want to try and have a meet up during Stampede due to the hassle of parking.  There was a suggestion of a pot-luck but nothing came of it, so the table is open for recommendations.

My mind is like a sieve. It holds on to all sorts of interesting tidbits and lets the important stuff flow right on through.

We were going to wait until after Stampede to have the next meetup.  Remember last year?   It was a total smoozle.   

But I think now we can start planning for the next meetup - which should be July 19th.  

Any suggestions for a place?   I am thinking of sushi... *ahem*

 

P.S.  Darn it Robert!  Couldn't you schedule your vacation at a more convenient time?

Sushi Ichiban on Mac. Tr. near 42 Ave. has always been a favorite sushi haunt for me.  They also have a location at Westbrook Mall. I find them both to be very good sushi places. I will miss Laurie and Robert, but they are having their own summer fun. Cheers.

Too funny. Everybody is busy that weekend. Either we reshedual for another date or just cancel July's meetup. Or...have it next weekend, July 12th.  The trick during Stampede is to pick a restaurant that is not downtown, not near the Stampede grounds, and one that doesn't have a western theme going.  So...if we have it next weekend instead of the 19th at Sushi Ichiban, either Mac. Tr. location or Westbrook location, we should be fine.  As long as reservations are made ahead of time, I don't see a problem with having the meetup the last weekend of the Stampede.  Just my thoughts on the matter.

I'm OK with moving it to the 12th.  But we need to  make a decision soon, so we can make reservations...

 

 

P.S.  Kurt you have to be there.  I have something for you from Lindy.

Wow! It's a classic CampMaster Junior 50. That is vintage... ;)

 

Nice camper. I bet it's got some real history and stories behind it.
