But who's to say. What I've noticed through out the entire series just when you think you figure it out BOOM!!! something unexpected happens and you go WHAT THE H***!!

I'm not sure what or if these finally 5 cylons have to do with the finding of earth and the other cylons and colonists, but there something about it thats unsettling I'm not sure what though.

But the one thing I've noticed is some what odd,

12 Cylons and one cylon God= 13

12 colonies and one tribe know as earth= 13

12 decipiles and Juess= 13

The number 13?

Also according to their history the 12 colonies all orginate from Kuabalt)SP). Know if I recall when they found this planet all they found was ruins of acient civilation and there's the catch? How did they orginally leave the planet? There where no signs any advance technology allowing of Space travel? So where the coloniest "magically" transported to the 12 colonies or did some "other" source transport them there.

Some of the things so far just don't add up. Perhaps in the final season all this will finally be linked up and explained.

Tom ,on the numbers issue, just some trivia for fun. OK... we have the number 13 ... so in numerology you would add 1 +3 to get 4 of course. Now the meaning of the number 4 in numerology is... ready... 4. A foundation, order, service, struggle against limits, steady growth. ... did it get just a little more interesting pal ?    ohhh ... almost forgot the first season had 13 episodes ...

I think:

 1)That the final cylon isn't a he or a she...it's an it.  I think it's gonna be the Battlestar Galactica.  4 Cylons hear the same song....etc. 

 

2)If I'm out to lunch on the Battlestar, it's gonna be either Adama, or Rosylin.  I know the directors already said it wouldn't be, but Rosylin having the same dream in the Opera house?  Come on.....and Adama, always counting on Tygh, just as he said in the final few minutes of the last episode season 3?  He was in enemy territory per the episode "hero", got around doin his thing and involved in special ops....makes a sensible choice.

 so my choices:  Adama, Battlestar Galactic itself (it is a machine.) and pres. Rosylin.

Interesting, although I still believe Kara is a girl as a cyclon or as others have said a God, but I do like your sig. :D

Having only recently got onto the forum ("forgot" my old ID password, was too lazy to re-apply until now), I'm jumping into this one a little late, but here's my (Canadian) 2 cents for the discussion...

My money's on Roslin as the fifth of the "final five" human-cylon models.  Starbuck is an different animal entirely, not cylon but apart from the general human herd (touched by the hand of gods, perhaps).

 In support of which, consider how Roslin was able to enter the same visualization as Caprica Six and Sharon 2 (could call her by her call-sign Athena, I suppose, but for some reason it makes more sense in my mind to refer to them as Sharon 1 and Sharon 2... Sharon 1 being the unit that shot Adama, while Sharon 2 was one who came aboard later).  Yes, I realize that Baltar could also share a visualization with Caprica Six, but ONLY with Caprica Six because of their special bond.  Here we have two and a half (the child) other cylons, and Roslin is right in there without even an invitation.

 I suspect that the "final five" are not talked about by the general cylon population because they "went native".  Tyral and Tygh were two of the strongest anti-cylon characters in the series, particularly during the New Caprica occupation (for some real fun, try re-watching the first few episodes of season 2 after knowing that Tyral and Tygh are both actually cylons, particularly the scenes where Tygh was interrigating Tyral after Sharon 1 shot Adama).

 

Anyway, just some thoughts...

I'm not sure who in all honest who will be the final one, but assuming the "final 4" are the actual final 4 and not some trick by the producers, asuming their the 4. I see the last one being re-veiled in the last episode in the last 10 mins odf the show. Who that will be I don't know for sure be it someone we know at present or someone new to be seen in coming episodes I'm not sure, but it will be interesting to se who finally turns out to be.

But here a few things that at present seem to conflict with the storyline so far.

According to the storyliner male cylons can't get a human woman pregrnate.

Hence two things:

Either their special and can(butr why not the other male cylons?)

or

Tyral is not the father of hus son and his wife had an affair.

Asuming Adam is the final "one" he too is either "specia;" or he'

s not the farther of his two soms Lee & Zack and his wife "cheated" on him.

My take is these "finale male cylons" are special that they are the real fathers.

Interesting but I wonder if they were special why they haven't been fracking every woman they can to increase the Cylon / hybrid population . Would they keep those males with reproductive capabilities in the dark about their origin so long ? Case in point ,Baltar would do a support beam if it were female, and many women fall for his charm and fame and brains and yet he is really a weasel pushed into the limelight of power by is psychotic mind meld with 6.  However Baltar could be borderline insane just as the hybrids are that run the Basestars . Perhaps Baltar is a male hybrid ...who knows . My best guess is that the final one is a woman simply because this show has so many power women in it that it kind of makes sense that the fifth would be one.

What we know so far…

 

1. The Final Five Cylons, as stated by RDM, are essentially different from the Significant Seven Cylons. Thus, all the rules and observations made about the Significant Seven Cylons cannot necessarily be applied to the Final Five.
2. None of the original seven are aware of the Final Five. (e.g. Sharon Valerii's lack of knowledge about Galen Tyrol's true nature during her relationship with him in Season 1)
3. Roslin is able to share dreams with several cylons, not just Hera.
4. Roslin was disoriented before the signal was sent to four of the final five cylons.
5. We don’t know much about Roslin’s past.

 

Random Thoughts/Conjecture…

 

1. The final five cylons are fundamentally different from other cylons.  I can see this taking the form of medical flaws. (e.g. Anders was severely ill on New Caprica, Tigh is an alcoholic) That means Roslin’s cancer would not eliminate her as a cylon and in fact, could point to fundamental physical/emotional health problems with the final five.
2. Roslin is the spiritual, civilian and “mother figure” of the fleet. Having her as the final cylon would pack an emotional punch
3. BSG has such strong female characters I really do believe that they would want the final cylon to be female.

1. Rosalind is definitely the cylon....remember back in new caprica she was having an affair with the president of the colonies...

Starbuck - might be the first half cyclon/human. Cylons very interested in her reproductive system. Still possible she is a cylon though.

Baltar - agreed, not a cylon. He needs to represent everything bad about humans. Plus he was there when Diana saw the unknown cylons and she did not indicate it was him.

Seelix - definitely could be him.

Adama - Lee would also be half/half and the cylons don't seem very interested in him.

I agree that it can definitely be Druella - need another female cylone anyway.

Diana definitely recognized the priest (assuming that is who she saw) so it is a character we would also recognize. 

And the general cylon population does not know what the remaining 5 look like as stated by Six or was is Diana - who is the "high command" anyway?

regardless, I sure will miss this show when it's gone...

... not sure but I think she is Cruella De Ville's sister from 101 Dalmations.   Actually she is Lee Adama's ex and she is also called Dee ... or are you just being silly my friend and already know ?
