BurnMonkey: I was at the mall but my mind remained here.
After all, having your mind with you at the mall is not all that helpful. Actually it was a waste of time being there because the people at Future Shop didn't have what I went to buy even though they are still running an ad for it - but they had it at their warehouse, however the guy told me that it wasn't their policy to call the warehouse and ask for things to be sent - they just get whatever the warehouse chooses to send them. Then he suggested that I could always buy it online and have them ship it to my house. Since they are the only people in the area who have what I wanted I did buy it online, but I also concluded that Future Shop does not really want my business so I won't bother them in the future - wouldn't want to cause trouble for them like actually asking them to sell me something - that might interfere with someone's coffee break after all... so I won't be there again, which means that I can be here.
I agree with you here. The only things I've ever bought from them were the original Star Wars series DVDs a little over a year ago... and that was because they were cheaper than Wal-Mart at the time.
Imagine telling a customer that they have an advertised item at their warehouse, but they won't get it in for him and suggest ordering it online...! Great customer service, Future Shop... might wanna rethink that policy in the future. Maybe if you're going to advertise something, you should probably keep enough stock on hand?
