just for the sake of being an oddball...i have always had a fondness for the Doom Patrol and Metamorpho, a.k.a. the Element Man. but i don't see them showing up on either the little or big screen any time soon.

I always thought it would be neat if they had some sort of character could alter the elemental makeup of objects on Smallville but alas no maybe if Heroes survives they will do a new Hero with that ability.

Maybe a couple of the New Gods, Orion and Lightray or Mr. Miracle

i like to see Captin Marvel or FireStorm on the show! that would be very cool!

A few people said Zatanna and I'd be curious to see who would play her, I find in the comics she's very pretty (much like I find wonder woman to be) more so than some of the other DC girls

They really screwed that one up didn't they? A russian foreign exchange student?

Now they're appearantly going to screw up Doomsday by having him be a trendy bartender named Davis Bloome. Maybe they should just call him Bloomsday?

Since they also have Maxima in the works for an appearance. I really hope they don't mess that one up. I want a hot red-head alien princess!!!

Static shock would be sweet in the smallville series

I've heard a lot of people say over the years that the "Holy Trinity", so to speak, of comic book superheroes is Superman, Batman & Wonder Woman. Every other character, regardless of what company owns the rights, is lesser than those three. It's really funny that Smallville can't get Bruce Wayne, in particular, to make an appearance... even as a cameo. Or make some reference to Wayne's companies at least. Wonder Woman would be cool, too.

Can it really be that expensive to get the rights to have some form of these two characters appear on this show? I mean, they can appear together on animated shows... why not live action ones?

They had to move Heaven and Hell to get them on the animated shows and if you watch they didn't always show up.  Besides, it was only cartoons.

 Live action, with the rights parcelled out for movies, makes it even harder.  They don't want comparisons between the shows and the movies.
