It was better than Domino and the Italian Job.  But not as good as Ghosts of Mars. That sort of illustrates Crank's place in B-movie-dom.

Crank had some good stuff, but was half a movie.  One fun part of the dvd is watching the extras.  The two directors give their views on using green-screen to fake stunts.  They do not like it.  For the most part I agree with them. But then we see how they apply their theory.  In one example, they place one of those big air-bags stunt people use, onto an intersection of a street.  Then they dangle their actor (guess which one) from a helicopter about fifty feet above this airbag, set up their cameras, and drop the guy.  No safety harness, no stunt man, they just release the harness and let him fall.  haha.  Those idiots are going to get someone killed.

How so? It had as final an ending as possible (though that apparently isn't stopping the team from now making a sequel).

Crank seemed unfinished.  Some scenes looked underwritten and poorly thought out - as though they were entirely ad-libbed off of half an idea and shot on one take,  some good scenes could have been even better, some bad sequences should have been cut, there were unnecessary plot holes, some sloppy direction ... it just looked like an early cut of a good, but only partly completed movie.

Really?  He was still going at the end.

His watch stopped.  Though it was a Casio, so it stopping is no surprise.

    Eyes.

I don't want to give anything away.  The ending was good.
