    Don Davis... R.I.P.

Don Davis passed away at the age of 65 due to a massive heart attack.

The well known actor had notable parts in Twin Peaks, The X-Files, and Stargate SG1.

I met the man once- I interviewed him with Amanda Tapping at the San Diego Comicon.

He was open, charming, and wonderful.

I'll see about putting up the interview later this week.

Poor guy.  I knew his work only from Stargate.  He seemed an excellent actor and had a strong screen prescence.  He was able to take a supporting role and make it seem a much larger part than it was written.

    this is sad news.

i had a chance to interview him as well for Parsec Magazine (article didn't run though...nuts!)

he was a soft-spoken man, very much in a way like his General Hammond character, very much enthused with art (painting was his passion when not acting).

    it was an enjoyable interview.

Thanks, but I don't need any help getting into trouble since I seem to manage quite well on my own.
