Re: BSG S-3 Finale (MAJOR spoiler)
She may know who the the seven are but she may not know who the 5 are. It is possible that there are still members of the seven running around in the fleet.

Personally I do not believe that the 7 are aware of whom the 5 are. If they were aware of even one of the final 5, the story would be drasticaslly different. When D'anna starts her investigationinto who the 5 are, she is blacklisted and boxed by the others of the 7. Sharons early statements only indicate she would not identify any of the 7 that were on the fleet, we only knew of 5 of the 7 at the time, so if she did decide to ID them, she would be providing information the colonials did not have at the time. I think it skews events to assume that the 7 know who the 5 are. Do you honestly think Doral would have ripped an eye out of Tigh had he known that he was a cylon? The 7 are on one side of the war, the 5 on the other. The 5 side with the human, the 7 want to kill them.... thus a split in factions among cylon. Another thing that points this out is d'anna not knowing who the 5 are, if she knew what they looked like, why all the deaths and why did she go blind and die the moment she saw who they were? D'anna is established all through S2 as a person of authority among the cylon, if she wasnt in the know, how could Valeri? As for D'anna's apology, I think it was to Sam for threatening to kill him on caprica.

The interesting thing is that, if true, it means there is another hybrid crawling around.

Speaking of hybrid ... very early in the series when Sharon and Helio did the rescue op. from Caprica , there was a young boy by the name of Boxy . This kid maid a few appearances during this ep. and has since dissapeared . Now , were the writers just being nostalgic and quaint or is there actually a reason why they introduced this character . As for Cally , maybe the reason she is acting like the snark muffin lately is because she is a Cylon . Can't figure out why Sharon hasn't laid some whoop ash on her .

They named the kids wrong. The girl should have been named Pyrrha and the boy Deucalion. With any luck Boxy is dead. Hopefully, the Ovions ate him and then died of indigestion.

I agree, that would be a touch more appropriate. As for Boxy, I believe it was nostalgia. He only ever appeared in the mini series. It was not a "rescue-op" tho, it was a happy circumstance that they rescued anyone. They blew out their fuel line, just after the Viper squad was destroyed, and had to set down to make repairs on Caprica

Re: BSG S-3 Finale (MAJOR spoiler)
I agree...Boxey was there for nostalgia reasons...the same as Jolly & a few others. They were named or made brief appearances in the mini & that was it. I think I saw deleted scenes on the 1st season DVDs where Boxey had a bit role ("Water"), but he was scrapped after that. I don't know where the show is going to go from here if these are the Final Five. Funny how they are all relatively close to the Adamas, eh? If that wasn't pre-planning, I don't know what is... Speaking of which...maybe there is something to their "plan" after all...

I see Cally having a bit of a meltdown if she ever finds out. Funny how Doc Cottle didn't find anything unusual if he's ever examined the kid... Since I haven't let the cat out of the bag, I'd just like to say that the Chief is my favorite character on this show. Having him be one of the Final Five is a bit of a disappointment. Aaron Douglas made him perhaps the most "real" character on the ship & definitely the most human. With the exception of Olmos, he's the best actor on BSG...imo.

I would agree there, EJO, MM, and AD are the best in the show, with KS close behind imo

Re: BSG S-3 Finale (MAJOR spoiler)
I wonder what the reaction is going to be if this spoiler turns out to be completely off, not that I think one way or another- it has taken me every ounce of strength not to read the spoiler. Maybe this is some misinformation "leaked" from the BSG camp. Either way, like somebody has said before in this thread, this has definitely turned BSG into must see tv again. This season has been a bit boring so far.

Re: BSG S-3 Finale (MAJOR spoiler)
It's very possible this spoiler is completely wrong...the girl who posted it could be taking a shot at how she would reveal the "Final Five" & posted it as if she knows for sure. The thing I find compelling about it is that it includes stuff that was in the preview for this week, such as the dialogue between Lee & Bill Adama and that Tigh interrogates Six. Granted, it was posted two days after the preview aired...a determined writer could have come up with all that stuff in a day & posted it the next. I hope it is wrong, in a way...like I said, Tyrol is my favorite character & I don't want him to be a Cylon. But it's going to make this show really interesting if it is true. To start off more speculation... 1. Why do you think the other 7 Cylons don't know who these five are? If they are as old as they would have to be, you'd think the others would have some knowledge of them... 2. If these "Final Five" are "sleepers", why do you think that is? Did they erase all knowledge of their identities from the master Cylon database & even each other to protect themselves for some reason? Maybe they can't download...if they die, they really cease to exist. 3. I'm wondering if Leoben knows about Starbuck's "Special Destiny" because he was there when she was born & knows something about her ancestry that even she doesn't...? Maybe she was the first hybrid, not Hera...(now we may have another hybrid, in Tyrol's son, Nick) 4. Do you think the "Five" will remain in their human roles & turn their backs on the other Cylons or do you think they will betray the fleet? All of them are in sensitive positions, even Anders is training to be a pilot. Just some questions bouncing around in my head if this info turns out to be good...

Re: BSG S-3 Finale (MAJOR spoilers...Don't look till AFTER Pt-2)
Wow, if that is true..... WOW..... If it's true then the next few episodes will really be interesting. However i have to ask what is she basing all of that on? Is that her opinion, or does she know something we don't?

That could be true... But it's so specific. If that is her opinion then she has a very good imagination.

Re: BSG S-3 Finale (MAJOR spoiler)
If the spoiler is true regarding the exposure of the Cylons within the fleet , I don't see how the fleet will survive unless there is a deep divide among the Cylons on how to persue future relations with the humans . If this divide does exist why wouldn't one group of Cylons box the other group ? Is it some holy context that is stopping them ... treat your fellow Cylon as you would have them treat you .. or is it a fear factor of a undetermined source ? If nothing else this spoiler has certainly added spice to this weeks chat . Probably just echoing some other thoughts here but that just means I see your point. ...D
