Actually I removed the entire "Universal" part from the logo, filled in the cut-out, and added the "'Versal" in Californian FB font (regular and bold). That's an genuine apostrophe courtesy of Microsoft Picture It! Publishing 2001.

Joss Whedon and company will be filming a huge chunk of Serenity in New York City and Upstate New York. They expect to be heading to location by the second week of June, although the film is set to roll on June 4.


The same production/effects/set design/costuming people that worked on the series are signed for the film. Greg Edmonson will reprise the music (after Newman had scheduling issues with the date change) and the nice folk at Zoic (The SFX house) have a few ideas...

Have a few more tidbits that I'll post later.
