At the same time the orgina; 4 male cylons couldn;t get a human woman pregnet eother.

So in a sence the final five a different in many ways, then the orginal seven.

I  wonder if the Final 5 were actually the First 5 and they didn't want anything to do with the destruction of humanity. Hence their memories were altered and it took some eclectic version of a song to awaken them to their true identity as Cylons. The other 7 Cylon models weren't allowed to speak of or even refer to the other 5 ,like some taboo, that would affect the Cylons plan. My flavor of the day for the possible 5th Cylon is Starbucks mother who was in the fleet at one time and said all along that Kara had a special destiny. Mom seemed to know a lot about what was going to happen ... probably why she drove Kara so hard to succeed ... even at the expense of loosing her daughters love and respect. Then there was the flashback ??? timetravel / out of body experience scene were Kara did go to her mothers death bed and talk with her. Granted Kara was under the control of the master mind fracker Leoben at the time ... but if I recall it was he who encouraged and somehow enabled the meeting to happen. Sooo ... I wonder how would Leoben have known about Kara's mom. Also the whole point of someone who is already dead being the 5th Cylon is not totally out of wack as the others have been ressurected numerous times. The other 4 may realize at some point that one of "theirs " is missing and do a ressurection in the final season.  ... are we having fun yet ... oohhh yea.

A lot of the theories here are pretty good. I have read a lot but not all the posts on who the fifth cylon is, so my guess is going to be somebody no one mentioned yet (from what I've read).

 I'm going out on a limb here and I'm going to say its Admiral Cain. Why? She liked to kill innocent humans.

I read somewhere that they used it to solidify that "All this has happened before, and will happen again."  stuff.  Somehow the song was written by someone who isn't Bob Dylan, with the exact same words just different sounding.  It's all part of the cycle.  It's the same song over and over again, presumably different each time but with the same lyrics.  As to why they picked that specific song, I don't know.  It all fit really well with what was happening on Galactica at the time though.

I think it's Starbuck.

The reaction of D'Anna Biers at the temple of five is revealing. Since we know that her model will be reactivated, it's for sure the reason for the reactivation is for the other models to find out who are the final five models. We know 4, but the Cylons know scrap. The Big surprise will be that the "final" five won't be models that seeks the destruction of mankind, but the unification of both conterparts.

 Cylon Leoben does not cease the tell that Starbuck is "exceptional". She knows where Earth is and with that in mind, she's the key to peace.

 After all, why not!

Although everyone who has thusfar been a cylon has just been very close to those in charge, but not an actual leader, and although Katee has said in interviews that she has been told she is not a Cylon and although Ron Moore made that comment about the last supper pic,  there is always the chance that he was being deliberately misleading, or that he changed his mind.

 But I don't think Starbuck is the final Cylon for other reasons (although I agree with everything else you say;)

 At the end of Season 3, everyone feared and suspected she was a Cylon - how else could she have survived the explosion? - but that would make it too easy.

I doubt that the final Cylon will be revealed until the end and I don't think they can we can't sustain that "is she or isn't she" tension story-wise for the rest of the season - it would get old. Something decisive will happen to let us know she is human and someone else will be cast under suspicion until the final one is revealed.

 I do, however, like the idea of the dead and rises again cylon-savior roslin. Or maybe she will be like moses, and lead them to the promised land but die upon arrival. Perhaps we can start a new thread that predicts who will be left standing when they get to earth, because it surely is going to be a blood bath at the end, don't you think?

As he was chasing a cylon raider we see the raider turn around,then it scan/looked at Apollo then without any reason turn back and leave,and we see a red glow in Apollo's eye.

Maybe i'm wrong but until the last one is exposed,i'll say its Apollo.

If you have Resurrection Ship episode.....watch it again.....Laura Roslin basically says I would like to come back as a younger cylon model......Adam says "you wouldn't look good as a blonde"...Roslin replies..."you'd be surprised".......when I watched her face and how she said it...very interesting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i think its bultar! in the origional serises the cylon leader cut off his head! and then uesed his head on the leaders body!
