Or maybe three times is not a charm. It would seem Fox has it out for Tim Minear, Firefly cancelled, The Inside cancelled, Drive cancelled. Probably best if Tim shopped at another network.

What was the idea behind "The Inside" ?  At least Nathon has a new film about to be released and apparently he is realy good in it.

You forgot Wonderfalls. Yeah, Tim should probably avoid Fox from now on. Although I can't wait to see how Nathan manages to make a funny story out of this whole thing. Stick out tongue

The Inside was a crime procedural drama thing, had Adam Baldwin and Peter Coyote amongst others. I caught a couple of episodes and it was resoundingly "meh". Seemed to me like everyone was really bored and just going through the motions.

I'm surprsied to hear from some of you that this show wasn't heavily promoted by FOX because while watching 24, I saw a lot of ads for the show. In fact, I had been boycotting any "new" FOX programming since the cancellation of Tru Calling. That was kind of the last straw for me at the time and I decided to stick with the few FOX shows I was already a regular viewer of, like 24 and The Simpsons, and simply not get invested in any new programs they might introduce. But the ads for Drive that I was constantly seeing during 24's commercial breaks got me interested enough to check out the show. But I've always been a sucker for car chases. But honestly, I didn't think that much of the two hour opener. I did watch the Monday episode as well and it wasn't until Nathan Fillion's character got the Charger (or Challeneger... can't remember which it is right now) that the show finally seemed to get interesting. I liked last week's episode and finally felt like the show might have promise. And now... of course it's been cancelled. Back to the new programs on FOX boycott for me.

I'd buy that for a dollar!

I don't watch 24 nor any other show on Fox, so I didn't see the adverts. I only heard about Drive via some mentions on a message board. I never saw print ads or any internet ads or anything that could target non-Fox viewers.

It was also advertised during Cops for several weeks before it premiered.
Jesse: I'm a sarcastic coolgirl who hangs out with dorks, that's how people know me.

Nitz: That's not how I know you.

Jesse: Well, you don't count, dork.

    Nitz: Errggh.

I think I'm with you there....had enough.  Fox sucks, bottom line. Not going to watch anything new on there unless it lasts more than a season...then I may download and watch.  HATE when they cancel stuff after only a few episodes.  It's fricken silly.
