Re: Regarding the Season Finale... *Not really a spoiler but may trigger a spoilery discussion*

Well, given the rest of the story, it seems to me that the terminator would not care if some human was connected to his "creator" unless it was a matter that he thought that killing him would interfere with the creation of Skynet - like the woman who was developing the traffic control system - a terminator kept her alive and protected her until she had done her part and then he killed her.  So that would suggest that agent Ellison was going to do something that would help Skynet.  Hmmm, ok, thinking as I type here - perhaps the terminator thinks that the best way to stop Sarah is to keep Ellison alive - he is after all tracking her.  Maybe the terminater believes that Ellison has a high probability of finding her and thereby either stopping her or leading him to her.  Now that would make some sence - the other agents were not involved in trying to find her because they believe she is dead.  It'll be interesting to see where they go with this.  Ellison could be her greatest threat but he could also become a useful comrad since he now knows without a shadow of a doubt that what she has claimed all along is true and he knows first hand just how deadly the machines are.

One other thing I have been puzzling over - Reese knows the female terminator from before but everything we saw seemed to show that his only interactions with her were positive - she saved his life, she did all the right things ... so why is he so negative about her?  Ok, it could just be that he hates the machines so much that he can't see any of them in any way but as evil, but they seem to have been hinting that there is some specific reason from their history in the future and if so, we still don't know what it is.  That's one I'm wondering about - did she do something bad?  Or could it be that he did something that he doesn't want known and she knows about it....

And as long as I'm pondering - one other thing from the glimpses of the future we have been given - what was with that whole thing where Reese and Andy were captured?  I understand the business of Andy telling Reese what he had done and that gave Reese a reason to track down Andy, but what was with the room in the basement and the music?  And why did the terminators simply leave and let them escape?  I have got one thought on it, though it isn't really backed up by much - could it be that the prisoners where being brainwashed in that room?  Like terminators being re-programed ... could Reese have been "programmed" with a mission and maybe he might even be reacting to Cameron the way he is because on some level he fears she might interfere with the mission he has to do?  That's mostly a wild guess - season 2 will likely show if it's right.  I do know that I don't like or trust Reese, something about the character says to me that this is a person who should be watched closely.

    Science is what machines perceive
    Reality is what humans perceive
