Well the more I think about thisw the happier I am, another 22 episodes!! the saga continues. Now all we need is for "Caprica" to be  picked up as a series. Something tells me the  backstory to the adama's and the colonies could be very very interesting.

Sorry, but I have to disagree with Apollo being a Cylon. For that to be true, then the cylons would have to have perfected cloning an actual person into a human cylon model. If that were the case, then they would have been able to more securely infiltrate humanity than they did with just 12 models. Remember Apollo is Adama's son...for him to be a cylon the whole Adama family would need to be as well, and that includes mother(deceased), and brother(deceased). This is the same reason that the chief cannot be a cylon...he is married to, and has a child with Cally. Cottle would surely have detected the anomolies that exist in a human/cylon hybrid as they did with Hera. If the cylons ever did do copies of humans however, Apollo, and Starbuck would be two of my first suspiscions. The chief was a candidate up until he married Cally. "Lay Down Your Burdens" part 1 set him up as Brother Cavil seemed to know exactly what his nightmares were without any apparent reason, and therefore he must be a cylon. Unfortunately if the chief were a cylon then he would also be one of the final 5, and unknown, and forbidden to be known to Brother Cavil. Moore, and Eick are doing a fair job of messing with peoples heads.

 Had I not seen the finale,I would agree with you. However 4 of the final 5 have been identified. If they were  simply messing with our heads they would not have made concrete statements about it, they would have made vague passing comments about it.

 I have to disagree with you concerning Doc Cottle as well. He was no longer on the  Galactica when their son was born, and it appears to have had only rudimentary  medical equipment on New Caprica (They could not even produce antibiotics) He would have had no reason to investigate  in the cellular  make up of their baby, Chief was "human" after all. It is possible  for cylon to mate with human, as proven by  Helo/Sharon,  there is defiantely love between Cally and the chief, that is the essential part of breeding with a cylon after all.

 The Final 4 are all but identified, yes things could be totally different after the new season starts, but for bnow I think the preponerence of evidence weighs heavily into the "they are cylons" camp, not the " they cant be cylons" camp.

 

Besides, this is SCI FI, it could be that everyone is a cylon and the "humans" are actually  already destroyed.... for all we know it is all a dream.

Some good points there, but I still disagree that they are 4 of the final five. The Sharon/Helo breeding thing worked out well because Helo the male was human, and Sharon the woman was cylon. The cylons have had farms up, and running since they conquered Caprica, and have not had any luck breeding with human females. What are the odds that Chief Tyrol being one of the Final Five would also be the only male cylon to be able to conceive. As for Colonel Tigh, there was an episode that dealt with his relationship with Adama via flashbacks. The episode kind of gave the impression that Adama, and Tigh have known each other for a long, long time, and have served together for a period that would predate the human model cylon technology. I am also not sure how long Tigh, and Ellen were married, but I get the impression that they weren't newlyweds. Anders, and Tory I can't really speak for, as I don't have too much info on them. Tigh was also in cylon lockdown for quite some time, and it is possible that they did something to him that might explain why he hears the music. Anders as we know was quite sick, and Leoben did visit him while looking for Kara. I should also point out that while he was very sick (and when have you ever seen a sick cylon by the way?), he was in perfect condition to be one of he resistance leaders. Did the cylons treat him? Did they add a little music in the drugs? Perhaps Tory, and Anders are cylons...maybe. If Tigh, and the Chief are however... then Monsieurs Moore, & Eick will haff some splainin to do as far as continuity is concerned.

As for it all being a dream...as a wise man once said " A dream, for some...A NIGHTMARE FOR OTHERS! (Merlin:Excalibur)

Now that the final cylons are known......  I think all of the human race on earth was an earlier iteration of cylons (or cylon human hybrid). 

Hmmm.....I still have my reservations.....

I believe the episode was the eye of Jupiter. When Chief felt like he was be summoned to the mountains and discovered the temple.

His detailed memories of being a child and how religious his family was. This gave him the ability to help understand and decipher some of the "details" in the temple ruins. I mean I know the Cylons go a long way to duplicate memories, but this seems extreme.... 

I still say the producers of the show are fraking with our heads and there are only 7 models. The idea of 12 was planted into our minds, just like what the Cylons like to do. And that's to Frak with our heads....

Well I don't know what happened in the 3rd season (haven't watched it yet), but my money is on Tigh. He looks too human with too many human vices not to be...

There are 12 cylon models. Right ? Where did that quote come from anyway ? Is is even true ?

 So far most of the cylons have been female, of breedng age and very attractive. Attempting to defeat the human race through genocide is effective. Attempting to breed with them to extinction is another way to eliminate humankind. (Thats what happened to the Mohawk Indians...there are no pure bloods anymore)

The president now has cylon blood in her. The vice president is a traitor and has a psychic connection with a cylon. The second in command has a wife that is a suspicious but simply a red herring. Two relatively important members of the crew have had romantic relationships with a cylon. Dee has been trying to get in a romantic relationship with Billy and Apollo ( Female attractive, is seeking important political and military targets for reproduction )

DEE IS FOR SURE !!!!

 Starbuck has a special destiny that may lead mankinds to salvation or extinction. She seems impossibly lucky and was once in cylon custody for days, wasn't she?...She is comprimised at the very least. Didnt Apolla have some special destiny too ? (Not sure where I got that but if true..it might explain some of his motivations beyond being Holier than Thou.)

Theres a little part of me that is asking how does this series end ? What is earth like during this conflict ? Does Earth save the day ? We assume that when Galactica gets the Earth everything will be Okay !!! Will it ? How could it ???

VERY VERY MINOR "BSG RAZOR" SPOILER

 

 

 

 

 

I was on wikipedia typing in their names and some really interesting stuff has come up. Like Thrace or Thrax was Ares's, the god of war, son in ancient Greek mythology. It also has left me without any doubt in my mind that Dualla is the fifth and final cylon. Her first name, Anastasia, means Resurrection in Greek, this was most likely a hint at her being the final one when Kendra mentioned that Gina Envierre's last name meant resurrection in Geminese during BSG Razor. Dualla is also derived from the latin word dualis meaning duality this also points to her being a cylon indicating she has two sides to herself. She has been pivotal throughout the whole show but just kind of stands in the background and controls the situation. She was with both Billy and Apollo which lends credence to the fact that they are trying to have children with high ranking political and military members or just to stay close to a pivotal player in humanity's destiny and she was the one who convinced Adama to bring the fleet back together in Home Pt. 2. She has had complete access to both the Pegasus and Galactica being both the XO on Pegasus and situated directly in the CIC on Galactica and is close with many on Galactica. I'm sure there are many more tiny things that we have missed because she is such an important/minor character at the same time and many of the things she does can go unnoticed. It all makes a lot of sense but this is of course still speculation and may not be true at all so let me know what you think.

I have always suspected Dualla, and just for symmetry, they will probably make the fifth a woman. I could care less about Tory, though, and I find her revelation the least dramatic of the bunch (except for her relationship with the prez).

One thing that sticks in my head is how Leobon whispered "Adama is a cylon" before being sucked out the air lock. There is always some truth, even in his lies.

I wonder how these cylons are going to be different than the rest, and why they can't be entertained in then minds of the first seven. 

 On another note, I wonder if they are going to end the series by landing on earth in the times of the ancient Greeks and become the gods of mythology (Six will be Venus, Starbuck Ares, Adama Zeus, etc. Geata would make a nice Hermes, no?).
