Intergalactic Consortium –May 10th Agenda
This months meeting is a little early considering next weekend is the long weekend and most people go away so rather then canceling the May meeting or moving to a later date when some of you might not have any money to spend we are having it now. It's hard to believe we are in May. The location of this months meeting is 175 Elm Street. Please look for a buzzer code by the entry phone. If you are attending all or part of the meeting, please RSVP ASAP. Even though the discussion starts at 4:15 pm, we ask anyone attending to try to arrive a little bit before if possible as to try to minimize interruptions and or disruptions. Thank you! A) Schools Out !!
It's May (can you believe it) which means summer is almost here. If we were all in high school still we would either be taking exams or just about to start studying for them. Also in regards to the group its one of our slowest times of the year. Anyway in this topic we will discuss and listen to ideas/suggestions re summer time activities the group can do durning the summer cause unless it is bad weather do we really want to be inside. Should we maybe try to do a movie outing, have a BBQ at a local park, work and discuss the groups fan film or something else. Keep in mind not everyone works so any ideas/suggestions can be made but be realistic re cost and I am sure we can come up with stuff that do not involve lots of money. If you cannot attend but have any ideas or suggestions feel free to post them on the message board or send them to torsf@yahoo.ca. All ideas and suggestions will be listened to equally but not necessarily implemented but without you this is hard to do.
B) Summer Movies
Last weekend the summer movie season began with Iron Man. Did it prove it's mettle, are you going to look for the crystal skull with Indy, see how dark the dark knight is this time around, hope the Hulk is more Incredible this time around? In this topic we will discuss the various summer movies coming out. What are we planning on seeing and why and the reverse what movies we think might cause us to choke on our popcorn.
If there is anytime and if anyone has any questions we will discuss the latest IC contest. After the discussions, we will try to do some something fun for anybody who does not have to rush off cause the IC is not just about serious stuff but a group who knows and likes to have fun.
As always if you have any comments, ideas, thoughts, etc re any of the above but for some reason you cannot attend feel free to post them on the message board or send them to torsf@yahoo.ca. In the meantime, take care and hope you will be able to attend an IC meeting and or event real soon.
