So I was going through our stats to figure out who links to SPACECAST.com, and i came across this wicked blog and through them, I found a link to spacewesterns  with a truly great article analyising the "last supper" photo and containing some great interpretations, (SPOILER WARNING) theories on who could be the final cylon and some crafty photo-folding, as well!

 

 

That's a pretty cool analysis. Don't know if it means anything yet, but it was neat to read.

It has to be Tom Zarek.  When Roslin dies he (as Vice President) will run the Government and Col.Tigh, by deposing Adama, will take over the Military.

I also think that the plan is to integrate with humans and populate Earth together as one species.  Whether this time line is prehistory or after we kill ourselves off I'm not sure.

I don't know if this has been previously mentioned, but I've been thinking about the Resistance leaders on New Caprica turning out to be "the Four". It wouldn't have been much of an effective Resistance without info from Baltar's office, provided by Mr. Gaeta, would it? Even though the guy has been pretty much in the background for the first 4 episodes this season while the story focuses on other events, I can't help feeling he's somehow involved.

Hmmm... Zarek looks like a good possibility too... and I'm not completely convinced Dualla isn't going to turn out to be a Cylon... who knows.... it could still end up being Boxey, the little bugger...!

I have been suspicious of Gaeta from very early on, and moreso since way back when he whispered something to Boomer just seconds before she shot the old man.  The whole resistance leaders angle adds more onto the pile.

I had also thought about Mr. Gaeta and to be honest am split between him and Tom Zarek.  What makes me decide on Zarek is the fact that he is the Vice President.  I think the end game plan of  the cylons is to take over and integrate without humans even knowing it.   Right now (if I am correct) the second in charge in both Military and Government would be a cylon.  And we know Roslin is dying.    One down, one to go.

I believe we will find out that they are all types of Cylons. By the time they get to earth; the cylons will have already blown each other up and galactica will have there own civil war and thus all get killed. In the end they will find Earth but all be gone and it would us the viewer looking at the planet from above.

 And if it not that than Boltar is number twelve. It makes no sense for Mr Gaeta to be a cylon. He has been just a sub character and not a lead role-playing character. It all has to make sense and so far from the very beginning the whole series has come together with many woven intricacies. Also a movie therefore would never be in the future. And us fans would all love that knowing that know one could come along in the future and kill it with a remake. This whole series has been great. I look forward to the new episodes and enjoy watching every episode again and again.

I think the 5th is Starbuck. The latest episode sure hints at. At one point in time she's talking about the fraking music. Which music might that be? The same the other 4 heard?

So that might imply that either Starbucks mom or dad was a Cylon. Perhaps that is one of the differences between the final five and the other Cylons. They were born from Human/Cylon breeding and this would be unknown to everyone except the parents. At that time the very concept of a hybrid child could have been a taboo subject for both species. Of course this would mean that Hera and Mini Chief are not the first born ones as we have been told and led to believe. Afterall it was Starbuck's mom who drove her to succeed all the while going on about how Starbuck had a special destiny. Momma knew what was going on (imo).

Just wondering, why do we all believe that there are only 5 other models?  The 4 revealed so far don't know anything.  The other 7 cylons don't know who the five are, so how can they know there are only 5?

What I like to know is why can;t the other 7 cylons ralk about the "5"? Why are they "forbin" to speak about them? WHY!! There got to be a reason why?

They left the collective and became contaminated so they were shunned.

Why I vote for Gaeta as the final cylon (contains spoilers):

1) He was a pivotal member of the resistence on New Caprica. And look who represented the leaders of the resistence: the other four members of the final five! Coinkidink? I think not!

2)  Everybody's looking at "which obvious cast member could it possibly be?!" If you look at a lesser character, the only ones who remain are Dualla, Hot Shot (both of whom have been pretty much AWOL so far) and Gaeta  (whose only scenes have been pivotal to his character).

3) He's supposed to be the most human of the cylons, right? Sure Laura's got her dealing with Cancer bit going for her, but Gaeta just lost his leg! I think how he chose to stay conscious during its removal shows a lot about his humanity. He's also been so wounded emotionally by Baltar that he was willing to purger himself on the stand. I think that shows a decent portrayal of emotional suffering to go with the physical suffering.

4) Like the other four members of the final five, Gaeta was obsessed with a song at one point. For the other four, it was just prior to their being revealed as cylons. For Gaeta, it's just prior to the 3s revealing the final five.

 5) Not a fifth reason. Just tossing in a random vote for Baltar's lawyer from the trial. Romo, IIRC?

So in the mid season finale.....(might as well call it the season finale.....Season 5 starts in 2009! :) )   The Number 3 said there were only 4 of the remaining 5 cylons in the fleet........That would be Tigh, Tyrol, Anders, and whats her name.

Does that mean the fifth Cylon was on the baseship?  Or have they mey him/her/it yet? If the fifth wasn't in the fleet at the time she said this, it opens up the possibility of it being Admiral Adama, Roslyn, Helo, etc, and anyone else on the Baseship.  It also precludes some of the ones we throught it was in the fleet.  ie.-Gaeta, Dualla, etc.

I'm starting to think the last Cylon is on Earth, but could be a duplicate of an established character, such as Adama or Baltar for example. Someone has to be responsible for the signal that the Four are hearing... maybe the Fifth is sending it...?
