Air Date for Last New Episode (Revelations)?

Can you confirm the air date for the last new episode will be June 13th?  That is assuming Space follows Sci-Fi channel's lead and takes one weekend off in May.

We're trying to plan ahead for our "Frak! It's Over" Party here in Vancouver and need to book space ahead of time.  Since The 13th Colony's Season Premiere party was such a success, I'm hoping we can get even more people out for the mid-season finale.  Actually, I'm pondering calling this the "Frakkin' Cliffhanger" party since I'll bet they're going to leave us hanging...

    Thanks!

SPACE will follow the SciFi lead, and take a one week break.

I am assuming that June 13th is the last episode, but I have not seen the June listings yet, and until I do I cannot confirm anything officially.

But it is a good bet.

How many episodes are there for season 4? I thought there were 20 episodes.

Is "revelations" the last episode before the break or THE LAST one of the season\series?

Season 4 is- the two hour 'Razor', plus a ten episode arc, then a break, then the final ten episodes.

    Why do I get the feeling SCI-FI(not Space's fault, blame SCI-FI) that they'll pull a S#3 stunt.

    S#4 EP1-10/11? April-June

    S#4 EP 11/12?-20 Maybe Sept-NOV or Jan 20090March 2009.

    I just got thatr feeling?

Re: Air Date for Last New Episode (Revelations)?

The rumour, and it's just a rumour, is that the last ten episodes will air starting in January 2009.

The break between the first ten and the last ten is not a surprise, this has been discussed on HypaSpace and by SciFi for months.

Some of this has to do with the writer's strike (in fact the episodes are still being shot) and some of this has to do with economics.

Re: Air Date for Last New Episode (Revelations)?

WHAT!!!!  What if I don't live that long!?  My life will be incomplete!

Also, and less dramatically, calling this the final season isn't true anymore.  Since there will be another group of episodes starting at the same time next year as they did this year... and in-fact, the same amount of episodes - that's the very definition of another television season, is it not?  Short season though it may be... it's still another season if it starts in 2009.

I thought the last wait was unprecedented, but the relief of the final season finally being here was just too good to be true apparently.  *le sigh*

Re: Air Date for Last New Episode (Revelations)?

I agree that it'd be a poor decision to put the wait into 2009. If this is the "last season" then they need to have the shortest wait possible (i.e. a "break"). If they start airing the last 10 episodes next year then, yes, it's a new season.

There are many, many things in this universe that I don't comprehend... I'll be the first one to admit that. But, if they're writing/producing/shooting the last ten episodes now (whatever stage they're at), why would they not air them in September or October at the very latest? What possible benefit would there be to waiting until January? Besides pi$$ing off viewers, I mean... Stick out tongue

It's Scifi.  They are good at that.  I think it is in their mission statement.
Il Duce and der Furher couldn't be obscurer on the planet Mongo or the Melody Ranch.

This way Universal can grab more cash by releasing two DVD box sets - BSG season 4.0 and 4.5.
