Space doesn't usually start airing things in the summer. My guess would be that we'll see Eureka s3 sometime in the fall.

Naomi is correct. It looks very unlikely that we'll bring Eureka back in the summer.

A fall launch for S.3 is possible, but I have no official word.

    Re: Season 3 on Space

I was just in Chilliwack the other day and saw them shooting a scene on the main street of Eureka -- saw the Sheriff SUV and the statue of Archimedes...  I know someone who works security on the show, and they've been shooting for a few weeks (starting in late May) so I would expect that the show will be airing in the US soon, but as has been said already, they usually don't seem to start new shows in summer on Space.  Shame.

It's a real shame Space channel air the  made in Canada marvelous TV series after US aired. It's an insult to Canadians and fellas in the industry.

I think Space channel should cut those US made old series in prime time replace it with most current made in Canada fantastic series such as Stargate Atlantis, Eureka, B Galactica etc  for Canadian family a chance to enjoy while support local artists, actors, writers etc.

    Re: Season 3 on Space

First of all I do not think Space has the budget the US Sci Fi channel has and also Space cares about its viewers so it opts to air new episodes for the most part air in the fall when more people would have a chance to see.  Also it should be known that Space sometimes does things some shows before the US does.  Take this past year/season they aired some episodes of Smallville before the usa channels/stations.

    Fixed that for you.

    Stick out tongue

People who want to see it, will see it, as evidenced by rampant downloading.  An avid fan of a show will watch it in spring, summer, winter or fall.  Casual viewers tend to not watch TV as much in the summer and thus Space can't pitch as high of a number of "eyeballs" for the sponsor's advertising buck.
