    mask!:

    This kills re-run audiences.

Agreed.  If people took the time, a lot of time granted, to watch the series from beginning to end, they'd realize just how much more superior it is to the other series'.

    Just--Me:

    and no Trek at all.

Hmm now I'm not to sure how true that is there making a new Trek movie with Kirk Spock and the rest in Starfleet academy

    I don't think so *ZAAAPPP*

Yea but thats problem, they didn't really go anywhere. Okay from time to time the send run-abouts out and they did move the station in the first eps. But other than that they didn't go anywhere untill near the end when the dominion war was going on.

A Trek movie where they're going back and re-doing stuff they've done before. Kind of like a "been there, done that" movie. I'm waiting for a NEW Trek project to get excited about…

Is that the only requirement to making good Star Trek? They have to go somewhere? Voyager and Enterprise went lots of places, but DS9 still has them beat in terms of originality, and all round quality of scripts, IMHO.

Plus, if linear distance is your measure, while the station didn't move far, the characters went all over the place!

    Re: Deep Space Nine reruns?

I'm not saying DS9 was the best or worst but each Trek had it's pluses and minuses.  It is a shame that Space had to take a Trek off the schedule.  It's ashame Space could not of gotten the rights to air the enhanced TOS  maybe they will once the entire run of enhanced episodes have aired.

Just to remind everyone, as of Tomorrow, DS9 will be starting from the beginning on Spike.

Or the end, depending on how you perceive time.
    20 minutes into the future.

Well today they're playing Dogs of War, but on Tuesday (or Wednesday, depending on what coast you live on)  it will be starting over with Emmisary

    Re: Deep Space Nine reruns?

What was really cool last week was seeing the first few eps of season 1 DS9 on spkie and then being able to watch the last few eps of season 7 TNG on space...  it almost felt like 1994 again!  To see the set up of the marquis (and the goodbye to wesley crusher) as well as Lt Ro's defection as well as the beginnings of the Brashier/O'brien friendship. Oh Kira when she was so angry and resentful of the Federation as well as Odo's original make up.

    strange coincidence?

    happy viewing

    Re: Deep Space Nine reruns?

DS9 has been on SPACE several times, and I have always been very surprised that it doesn't do as well as the other Trek iterations.

For me, personally, it is the best of the 'New Treks', and I have always felt that it was overlooked by fans.

I have no doubt that it will return some time in the future- it is our most requested show- and I hope that if and when it returns, people watch it.

I defninitely will watch it on Space if you guys ever do air it.  I haven't seen the episodes (I'm starting over with Spike, but 2/3 episodes a week isn't enough.  It's gonna take years to finish the series -_-)

We will start promoting it in August.

Not sure of starting date or time. Sept. I think.
