That's what it was! There was some little bell dinging in my head indicating that there was some reference with her saying that (and with the overall story now that I put Little Shop into the equation), but it didn't connect in my mind.
Yep. I kept having to stifle the urge to say "Seymour!, feed me Seymour!"
By the way - what was the thinking behind calling the alien on the TV "The Wire"? I can't figure the reference out and it is bugging me.
