    Send us your Holiday Filk!

Has anyone got any Seasonal Farscape Filk?

The ScapeCast ( http://www.scapecast.org )  is looking for Scapers to send in some Holiday Season Filk.

If you've ever done a Music"Roasting Scarrans with a Qualta Blade", or a "Jingle Bells Dargo Smells" Music or even a "It's beginning to be a Frelling Christmas" the ScapeCast wants to hear it!

So please, record your Scapery Christmas Carol, or Farscape Holiday Song, and send it in to feedback@scapecast.org or call 1-206-350-6692 and sing it to our voicemail.

A selection of the entries will be played on our December 22nd episode!

And remember what the commercial says:  "Got Filk?"

We're looking forward to hearing your songs. :)

What is a filk?  We're glad you asked!

Whichever definition one chooses, filk is a form of music created from within science fiction & fantasy fandom, often performed late at night at science fiction conventions, though there are now dedicated filk conventions in Canada, England, Germany, and the USA. And whichever definition one chooses, the boundaries of filking are muddy. For example, filking overlaps with the singing and music performed by participants in the Society for Creative Anachronism.
