Shagrath:I just finished watching the BSG mini-series again on TV and i think i may have spotted SERENITY, the ship from Firefly and Serenity. Near the beginning in the scene where you meet Roslin (the doctors office where she recieves the news about her cancer), you can she ships flying by through the windows in the ceiling. Just before the camera moves down toward Roslin, there's a ship coming in for a landing (moving from the right of the screen to the left). I may just be imagining it, but that ship looks just like a Firefly class transport ship.
The same Special f/x studio "Zoic Studios" that worked on BSG also did most of the f/x for Serenity and Firefly. They also worked on many Seasons of Buffy and Angel. You can see their demo reels here at http://www.zoicstudios.com/
