Delerium-R:I think it's a sign of great writing and fine acting when they can get the audience to feel for a character who was previously seen as a villain but only had the best intentions.
The reason the writing seemed so great for this episode can probably be attributed to the writer Bryan Fuller, creator/writer of "Dead Like Me" and "Wonderfalls".
