Through the Team Stargate group I belong to an interesting thought came to me. They asked what the outcome of the episode "Tabula Rasa" would have been if Teyla and Ronan had lost their memories along with the rest if the city. Then I got to thinking Teyla and Ronan are quite and important part of the team and the Atlantis population. I never really thought that having "aliens" would really be important or necessary, but now I'm thinking twice about that. If Teyla and Ronan had been from earth or another galaxy then the outcome of "Tabula Rasa" probably would have been that there would be no more Stargate Atlantis. I don't know how the rest of you feel but that's what I think would have happened. I mean SG-1 had T'ealc and he was important because of the alien things that made him invulnerable to certain things and I guess that's what Ronan and Teyla do for this series. Now I'm glad their around and have a new appreciation for them. They aren't just some chacters that now the lay of the land and can teach Earth new things about their cultures and stuff they are crucial to the survival of the Atlantis mission. Let me know what you think about Ronan and Teyla. Do you think the same or differently about them and the episode "Tabula Rasa?"
