Yea, it did suck, but... we got Kaylee as the new doctor, much joy!! 

And, Inara was on SG1, really, there's no reason why we can't just get the rest of the cast onto Atlantis also.

It seems this board is destined to always spoil character deaths.  Happened when S6 killed off a character, yet Canada hadn't seen it yet (we saw it, what, 2 years later?!?!?), yet someone brilliantly posted it on here.

But to do it in a thread title - that's just poor taste.

We should randomly start new threads on the board like "oh my god, can't believe they killed O'Neill" just as red herrings, heheheh, wonder how many people would rant and scream...ouchies!

Haven't watched that ep yet - learned it from a friend in France no less who'd seen the ep online... too bad really, I think they will regret it - he was an important part of the team. SG1 never quite recovered from the good doctor getting killed off, in my opinion. Her replacement, eventhough she's a good actress, it just didn't "click" like Janet...

I too really really liked the relationship with all the members of the team - Ronon & Beckett, Beckett & Rodney, Beckett & Sheppard, maybe there was a grander scheme at play but haven't seen it yet in the last eps of the season with the female equivalent of Beckett. Just my opinion but will still be buying off the DVD of Season 3 when it comes out

Thank you for reminding me exactly why I do not bother much any more with the "spaceboards"! It may come as a revelation to some people, but the majority of us have enough trouble affording cable and internet, never mind The Movie Network, or don't have Mom or Dad to foot the bill! What are  billed as "first run" series on Space are actually "first run" series for us as well. Having the next season discussed like this is, quite frankly, a slap in the face! I cannot see why "moderators of this board cannot prevent this kind of thing. I will not stop watching Space, but it will be a long time before I again look at these messageboards, so the anticipation and novelty of a "first run" show will not totally ruined again!!!
