Does this mean the Spaceys themselves will be airing before the summer?  Incidently has it realy been a year I had always thought they occured alot later.

Re: The Official 2007 SPACEYS Thread

I gotta say, I'm very disappointed.  Where's the Supernatural love?

It's one of the best shows out there right now and no one seems to remember them come awards time.

I was really hoping that I'd see it make the Spacey's this year.... oh well, maybe next year.

I just want to say I found it difficult to ascertain if my votes got through.  Is there anyway of getting a confirmation that your vote went through.  Also re the movie category heck of alot to choose from I wish you could of broken them up.

If your vote went through, then the icon you clicked to vote should change to one that says click to return to the main menu.

I just wonder if they are going to put up a list of the winners.  I also find it agregious that Mr. Kevin Spacey is not guarenteed in getting a Spacey.  You rip off his name and his movies like K-Pax are apparently good enough to show on your channel, but he is not good enough to get one.   Spacey needs a Spacey!!

Re: The Official 2007 SPACEYS Thread

I don't know what it is about the video game category, but it seems to only ever have one game I've played.  Of course this is usually a game I disliked and this years is a game that totally ruined a damned good series.  So I voted for a game I enjoyed the commercials for.

    Stick out tongue

Also, the first category contains only characters that I (personally) neither love nor hate, let alone "love to hate"

Re: The Official 2007 SPACEYS Thread

Voted, in those areas where I could. Haven't seen a lot of movies this year, so I had to leave some categories blank.

So, here's my usual commentary on this year's nominees:

Good: The video game category is a bit broader this year - I've complained about the lack of variety in past years. Nice to see more than one option that isn't a FPS. Thanks for that. Cool idea to see a "classic TV" category - though I didn't vote in it, I know there are fans out there that are passionate about their classic sci-fi.

Not so good: I'm very puzzled about the inclusion of 24. Good show from what I hear, but doesn't seem to qualify as genre. Stuff like Lost and some of the futuristic action flicks are at least borderline sci-fi/fantasy, but 24 shouldn't be there. And yeah, the total omission of Supernatural is odd given its popularity. I can understand why Stargate SG-1 isn't as highly nominated as in the past, but their award show antics are always good Spacey entertainment - I'll miss that.

Re: The Official 2007 SPACEYS Thread

    Naomi,

Any show that depicts the possibility of getting anywhere in Los Angeles by car over the timeframe of a single commercial break automatically counts as science fiction! Wink
