So we 'possiblely' know 11 out of the 12 cylons, this is assuming the final 4 we saw in the cliff hanger are real and not some "trick" by the producers to through us off. So as it stands now we know there are:

4 female Cylons

Sharron

Six

Diana

the presidents aid(forgot her name)

7 males

Sam

Col Tye

the 'Chief'

Simmon

the priest(Dean stockwell-forgot his name)

The guy in love with Star Buck(forgot his name)

the guy that was the guide9forgot his name)

 

So that leaves one more. I think its going to be male. As to who it will be I'm not exactly sure, but I'm guessing it will be Baltar.

 

Even though Six said he wasn't one, rember no one has seen the final 5 except for Diana and she's  "OUT OF SERVICE" as it where. It'll be interesting to see what happens in about 6/7 months(GAA TO LONG OF A WAIT  )anyway it'll be interesting(perhaps there might be a 'clue' in the up coming TV movie this Fall)

I don't think it will be Baltar , he is to frakked up to be a Cylon. Besides he was spirited away at the end of last season by a bunch of women for as they said "His new Life" I think he will become Baltar the stud for a group of women who have a Mansonistic (new word ? ) type of obsession with him. Also the male Cylons, as mentioned in the series, are sterile and couldn't impregnate a turkey baster if they tried. The males are basically drones.

I have watched the DVD's of the series a couple of times looking for clues . There do seem to be a few just not sure if it's cagey misdirection or not. From what I recall the toasters can destinquish between the Cylon skin jobs and real humans. So my bet is it will be female, they have had the balance of power and control throughout the series from the Cylon perspective.

If the statement about the male cylons being sterile is true, then the Chief is either not a cylon or Cally had an "affair" with another man. I'll bet this will be expained in season 4.

So if it is true that the male cylons can't get a woman pregnate, then a few things:

 

Either Adam is not a cylon or he's not real father of Apollo

The chief is not a cylon or he's not the real father of Callies baby.

 

They only thing I can think of is if in deed(assuming) the Chief or Adam are the final cylons being the "special" last cylons they can reproduce, if not then their either not cylons or they are not the real fathers of their sons.

 

Also if I recall Sharron, not sure about Six or Danna, when they have sex their spin glows red.Not sure what that is all about, but it might mean something.

  I've always thought it just meant they were really, really hot .   ...well it's always looked hot anyway. Still think if they have revealed these four as Cylons then a lot of the drama is gone and besides this series has never been that forthecoming with information anyway . There has always been a twist to the plotline.

I'm going waaaaay out on a limb, and I hate myself for saying this, and I may of missed something in the mini-series and season episodes and hopfully absoluetly wrong, but has any one thought that Starbuck :( is a cylon. OOOHHH this is going to hurt!

My theroy is she's part "GOD" making her inmortal. Remeber they come from a place that at one time whorship these "GODS", who's to say they wheren't real and her real father or real mother is one of those GODS.

She would certainly be very special and have a unique destiny then,would'nt she ? Never tjought of her being part "God" from both the Cylon God and colonist God.

 

Basically it was from the colonists GOD. Now assuming there where like the ancient Greek Gods according to Myth they where supposely imortal and could not die. Even those that where part god had Imortality or at least according to myth.

 

Now assuming she is part God that could explain why she came back from the dead.It only a guess, who knows for sure.

 

But the theory of her being part Cylon God and part colonist God seems like a good story line.

Just trying to find some kind of explanation as to why the Cylons and Kara's mom feel that she has a special destiny . What is it that they know/knew about Kara that hasn't been revealed in the storyline and Kara does seem to pull some rather amazing stuff off . The Cylons have also had ample opportunity to kill Starbuck but that hasn't happened either.

I think you guys might be on to something.....Kara was the only one able to fly the cylon raider, her mother told her she was special.....what immaculate conception???LOL  She is the best pilot in the fleet, Leoben is obssessed with her and also seems to point her in the way of her special destiny, and she miraculously returns from the dead at the cliffhanger....Anyway there are many things supporting the conclusion that if she is not a cylon, she is a link between the two species...

I also read from your posts that cylon males are sterile, but there also seems something pointing to the fact that the final five are special cylons that not even the known cylons have ever seen.  Whats the common ground between Tigh, tyrol, Tori and Sam anders?  Tyrol and tigh are in the colonial service.  Tori was a member of Roslins staff in the beginning, and anders....a sports star and leader of the civilian resistance.  I can see common ground in some but not in others.  They all have miraculously survived--Tyrol and Tigh because Adama did not beleive in computer networks and Galactica was the only ship that could fight, Tori survived that initial attack on colonial one when lee thought he fooled the cylons with the hyperdrive generators in the hold---although he said he could not beleive it himself because in training the cylons saw right through it.  Anders on caprica surrounded by cylons and his group survived and made it to galactica because Kara (as I said, shady in her own right) insisted on a rescue mission to get them.

It seems that the whole plan was to have them survive and put them into key positions--Tigh XO of galactica, Tyrol-leading deck hand and popular amongst the enlisted crew, Tori made it to presidents aid after billy bit the big one.  Anders-sports star and leader of the civilian resistance and popular amongst the civilian population.  But on realization of who they were they did not turn on the colonials, but sided with them at the cliffhanger......What?  Program click (pulling a boomer)and they seize control of the galactica and the presidency?????

 Just my two cents worth!!!LOL
