when does season 4 start in canada .. i live southern ontario and i see it has started in the states .. can someone let me know when it starts up here as i am going nuts ..

Season 4 of Stargate: Atlantis is currently airing on TMN (the first run licensee for Canada).

Yes ! That's fine for TMN watchers, but when for us, Space watchers ?

Well, if you're waiting for Space's airing, I wouldn't hold my breath, because it probably won't show up for another year or two. They haven't (at least, I don't think...all the channels are blending together these days ) shown season 3 yet, so...

Here's a great example of why p2p and other methods of online distribution are in use and so popular. A crap pay channel like TMN hogs the rights to a popular show like SGA. It's filmed in Canada but we don't get to see it for a year or two later. It shouldn't be this way and when people source other means to obtain their favourite shows and what not because of situations like this, the producers have only themselves to blame. It hurts the fans, the people behind the shows and great channels like Space and their advertisers. All because someone has enough money to throw around to secure the rights to a show and keep the majority of Canadians from seeing it until much much later than the rest of the world. That's my two cents.

I agree. Untill the CRTC lets the SciFi channel into Canada P2P is the way to go. If you analyze the amount of Canadian content being run on SciFi you will notice that it exceeds CRTC guidelines. Space just can't afford good first run content like Atlantis S04.

The thing is sci fi is not a canadian station so they can air all the canadian content shows they want.

I completely agree with Stardaug71, the issue applies to Blood Ties as well!

Basically, I own the season before Space even aires it.  I was so excited that they were advertising the new Season, was ready on Sunday just to see an airiing of a season I already own!

 Not everyone can afford the 'fancy' channels which would allow us to view the new season, so essentially, I will be purchasing season 4 before Space starts airing it as well, which affects viewership and ad revenue and in turn makes it even harder for Space to compete.

Now we're up to 4cents, anyone else :D

 

Well.... it better be on Space soon! I have been watching it all season on Movie Central and it is AMAZING!!! I want to watch it again!

I have Bell XpressVu and it's almost the same cost as cable. We get to see Season 4 on Movie Central, Monday nights.  :-)

I hope that when they get season 4, they sit on it for a year so that they can get through the season 1 and 2 episodes that they have shown a hundred times first.

Well I have seen it listed on TMN but against my better judgement, where I haven't finished S3 on space decided not too watch it...  arguably one of the most difficult choices I've made in my life with regards to tv lol

Search Episodes on you toube or ALL U C to watch season 4 stupid!

I do not think its stupid if a person chooses not to watch a show via Youtube some peoples computer or equipment might not be able to plus its like reading the second half of a book before you read the first half.
