we now have it on tape to go with our DVD edition of The Dresden Files so now we are complete (lacking, of course, any of the original Jim Butcher novels but that can be corrected later).
was great to see the scenes with Bob the Skull that were deleted from the "Storm Front" single episode that later was made part of the season. while i can understand the rationale in changing Butcher's original concept to Bob as we all are most familiar with him - a disembodied ghost - it was still nice to see what the original concept would have looked like and especially to hear those classic Bob lines like:
"I have 10 centuries worth of boring stories and I'm going to tell you every one of them!" (to Morgan, imprisoned in the basement) or...
"Going up against a vampire in her own lair is a bad idea." (to Harry before he leaves for Bianca's downtown nightclub).
Thanks, but I don't need any help getting into trouble since I seem to manage quite well on my own.
