I now breathe an enormous sigh of relief, as I've at long last had my SG-1 fix, and I loved every minute of it.

Daniel Whump FTW!! xD I've been hearing so much about the emotional "different take" on the Daniel/Ganos Lal interaction in AoT and I couldn't wait to see it...I thought it was fitting that Daniel would have reached such a point of desperation at so critical a stage in the battle against the Ori; he was so wrung out I just wanted to hug him (more than usual! lol!) =)

TPTB could have noticed the continuity in Teal'c's hair when he was crossing the mountains; at one point the white patch in his hair switched sides - how could they not have noticed that? It was only a brief shot, maybe one or two seconds, but it was noticeable, and it irked me. LOL

The Replicator subplot was cool, but I think it took a bit away from the Ori storyline - I know they had to keep Carter, Mitchell and Marrick occupied somehow, but couldn't they have found a way that didn't make two of the biggest SG-1 villains duke it out for screen time? I'm not saying I have a better idea, but I think they could have done something less drastic than to reintroduce an enemy like that - and what bugged me most was, when the ARG was brought to Carter, why didn't the soldiers bring their P90s with them in case Mitchell and Carter needed backup? hahaha That could have avoided the entire situation. =P Just one of those things, I guess.

Mitchell was right about one thing though - I did miss Woolsey! Marrick was such a slick ***! I loved to hate him, that's for sure. The moment we met him onscreen you could just see the malice underneath the affable exterior. *gets all paranoid* xD

Tom Guinee was wonderful; I love Tomin to death, and indeed he is the "modern-day Teal'c"! I'm very relieved RCC didn't kill him off. =P

It was also cool to see the former Doctor Brightman making another SG-1 appearance as Amelius' right-hand...er, Alteran, as well as our good buddy Reynolds making a comeback!

That's all for now, I guess! I'm still on Cloud 9 after watching the movie; other than a few little quibbles I can't say enough GOOD about it! Now it's another long wait for Continuum!! xD

I am curious in terms of Atlantis where does this movie fit in.  I know Carter is due to join the cast. I am only able watch Atlantis on Space and City and they have not shown those episodes but wondering where this sits.  As for the movie it was nice that they resolved the Ori sotyline but in someways am a little disapponted with the finale but I guess thats the way most finales for showes we like are they never or should I say very ralely end the way that we wish they could.

According to Amanda Tapping, Ark of Truth occurs before season 4 of SGA.  Continuum perhaps happens after season 4.

So does that mean betwen seasons 3 and 4?  Did she state this in a article or did she mention it in a con you attended?

It takes place between season 3 and 4.  I've read interviews from more than one person who has said that.
