Battlestar Drink Recipes - Preparing for the Big Night!

I'm sure I'm not the only one who's going to be having some sort of shindig to celebrate the return of BSG season 4.

Been working on a few Battlestar-Themed Drink recipes to help keep the party flowin' - feel free to add your own!

    AFTERBURNER - (VIPER MARK II)
    2 parts Vanilla Vodka
    1 part Fireball Whiskey

Shake with ice, serve in a shot glass
For a longer burn add a touch of Tabasco sauce

THE RED DRESS - (AN ODE TO NUMBER SIX)
    2 parts Gin
    1 part Pomegranate Juice
    1 part Cranberry Juice
    a dash of Grenadine

Stir and Serve with a touch of ice in a slender Collins glass.

TWISTED MESSIAH - (THE BALTAR COMPLEX)
    1 part white Tequila
    1 part Ouzo
    1 part tomato juice
    a dash of worcestershire sauce

Shake and serve in an old fashioned glass.

Yeah, if you like cinnamon the Afterburner is pretty tasty.  I've been thinking of some more - I haven't tried these ones out yet tho':

    SKINJOB - (CYLON LOVER)
    1 part Bailey's Irish cream
    1 part Tequila Rose
    a dash of Amaretto

Shake and serve in a Shot Glass

    PLANETSIDE - (THE BROKEN COLONY)
    1 part lime cordial
    1 part lemonade
    1 part blue curacao liqueur

Shake with Ice, strain into a frosty Hurricane glass

    BLACK BLUR - (FTL JUMP)
    1 part Red Bull
    1 part Scotch Whiskey

Mix with a double shot of espresso and down in one gulp.

** The Black Blur is a variation of my BLACK BULL drink
except I've included Scotch to add a bit of a trailing aftertaste.

    yum!

That's my kind of show prep!

Can you concote me something using Peach Schnapps or Malibu? This is one of the few shows I watch, but usually on DVD or streamed. I'm hoping I can convince some friends to have a BSG premier party, otherwise I don't get to see it (I don't get any form of cable - this is one of the very few times I regret it)!

Thow.. hmm.. Dundas square has got to be good for something.. they should show it outdoors on the big screen! Maybe I could convince them :)

    1 part Malibu Rum
    1 part Coconut Milk

CAPRICAN DAYDREAM - (ESCAPE FROM STEEL WALLS)

Uh oh.. you might get me in trouble there!!! That sounds like a dream indeed. The only think I think I will change is a adding a bit of milk to make it more... I duno.. less sweet and slightly thick, with less calories than all coconut milk would be.

Still. Yum! Now I need more than ever to get to a BSG premier party... with blender in tow :)

Yeah, the coconut milk might be a bit rich - still, it's a step down from what I'd originally had there: Evapourated/Condensed milk. ;)

The crushed ice should help to thicken it up for you too - it makes it more of the consistency of a daquiri.
