    Six Knows

I just finished watching tonights episode and I would have to say great episode, and also six knows, and I think Lee may know more than what he's letting on. He certainly was not surprised to see Tori at Balters little conclave. Very interesting.
Hmmm, what's that ? Lunch, maybe..?
    F**K it, I'll eat it anyways !!!

    Re: Six Knows

If Six knows about Tigh being a Cylon, then the "switch-on" must do something more to identify cylons to other cylons, similar to how Anders was identified by the raider. That makes Six a good "cylon-detector". However, that wouldn't explain why Sharon on Demetrius doesn't see Anders as a cylon. So, if Six knows, perhaps it's simply the way Tigh was acting, or perhaps Sharon knows and hasn't shown her hand yet. We'll see.

I think Lee seeing Tory at Baltar's er...place...and not being "surprised" has more to do with thinking she's there at the behest of the president to keep an eye on what's going on. But he might be thinking this is something to use against the president if he sees Tory as being Baltar-friendly. I'm a little unsure of why Lee has gotten so antagonistic toward the president, though, as he never seems to be working with her anymore but only against. Just a young, idealistic view of the world or something more?

    Re: Six Knows

I, too, think Lee is being a bit antagonistic towards the Prez, but I think it all goes back to his speech during Baltar's trial. He sees things being done, both by Roslin and his father, that aren't the actions of people concerned about democracy or fairness in all cases. Bill Adama is the military head honcho, though, and the military isn't about freedom of thought amongst the lower ranks - they're just supposed to follow orders - so maybe he figures there isn't too much that can be done about that side of the equation.

Roslin, however, is a different story. And she seems to have a profound effect on the actions of the Admiral because of their close friendship. Maybe Lee figures if he can't change his old man, he can affect things from the government side... which is why he resigned from the military and joined the council in the first place - to effect some change.

Regarding Six knowing about Tigh's being a Cylon... uncertain if she knows for sure, but I'd say she strongly suspects from Tigh's questions about "switching off" certain feelings of guilt or pain. But then again, those same questions could be applied if Tigh was human as well. Six could think that Tigh just wants to learn how the Cylons can do it so he can ease his pain... just a possibility.

    Re: Six Knows

That was a good bit of misdirection with Six and Tigh. As soon as he walked back in after switching off the cameras and she said "I can show you how to switch it off," we were supposed to think she knew. Then she went back to talking as if he were human and it wasn't so clear anymore. Where they left it between those two is really ambiguous. I don't know if Six knows. I'm thinking maybe she knows something, but it's not quite at a conscious level yet - she's still putting it together. Plus, we don't really know how much information is being transferred between Six and the Cylons on the baseships. We can probably assume, though, that this Six would share Natalie-Six's goal of reuniting the models, so her subconscious would be driving her in that direction even if she doesn't know what's going on over there.

As for Lee and Roslin, again, it seems completely in character. Roslin and Adama's conversation laid that out pretty plainly - he will always do what he thinks is right. Lee's an idealist; he still dreams of changing society for the better. It's why he stood up against the Circle, why he joins Baltar's legal team, and why he runs for the Quorum seat. In fact, it's why he supported Roslin in the first place: he wanted to stand up for democracy against militarism. He isn't suddenly turning on her either; that goes back to his betrayal of her secret at Baltar's trial. But now that Roslin's actions have become more autocratic, Lee feels he has no choice but to speak out against them. It's exactly what one would expect from this character.
