Supernatural - Season Finale - Spoilers
So? What did you think? Obviously they've set it up for Sam to develop his powers next season whatever they are, but I thought at the end it was a bit vague. Big light, nothing happens, Lillith freaks out. Huh? Then my question is about Ruby. He killed Lillith so can Ruby's spirit come back in the old body or will they have to get a new actress because I imagine next season she'll be coaching Sam. And I suppose if he can kick Lillith's ass he can bring Dean back from the dead. I was a bit annoyed with Dean's refusal to let Sam learn anything from Ruby. At that point what could it hurt? Oh well, guess they had to set up the ending. Why are demon possessed kids always so freaky? Way worse than an adult. Looking forward to how they get Dean off the web (or whatever that was).

Re: Supernatural - Season Finale - Spoilers
I loved that episode. The intro set it up to be awesome. I think Dean is so against Sam using his powers just because of what could happen in the long run, what he could become, him turning 'dark side' and all. All the other 'special children' that used there powers started to use them for bad (well not really Andy and stuff but anyway, majority I guess did) Dean wouldn't want that. And it sucks 'cause Papa had told Dean he might have to kill Sammy if that does happen (Can you see him doing that, really?) I really loved that little girl who was Lilith in tonights episode, she could go from crazy and creepy, to cute and cheery so quickly Anyway, I can't wait for season 4 to start

Re: Supernatural - Season Finale - Spoilers
Yeah the little girl who played Lillith was quite creepy (almost as creepy as one of my nieces - on my husband's side of the family). What made it even creepier for me was that a lot of her maelovolence occurs off camera (e.g., the the babysitter and Mr. Freckles). Although we see the babysitter's body & the blood on her dress, it's left to our imaginations to picture how they met their fates. That said, she commits enough violence on camera too. Anyways, I'm not sure how I feel about the finale. It did annoy me how Dean refused to let Ruby help Sam. However, that one shot of Dean looking at Sam & seeing a demonic face (quite cool actually - was it real or just hallucination?) might have been good reason for his attitude. I thought overall this was a really uneven season in terms of episode quality. It's quite possible that the writer's strike is largely responsible for that, as other shows also had a lot of inconsistency. There were some pretty bad episodes this season, although the last couple were reasonably well done (and there were some good ones at the start of the season). Thus, I'll stick around for Season 4 and hopefully the show will get back on track to what it was in the first two seasons. In particular, I'm waiting to see what the relationship was between their mother & the Yellow-Eyed Demon.

Re: Supernatural - Season Finale - Spoilers
Yeah, Lilith was pretty violent on and off camera, like killing her grandpa, but that's one reason why I love the show. I wasn't really annoyed with Dean not letting Ruby help Sam, I think it's just that Dean doesn't want it to take a turn for bad, and as all the other psych-kids, he CAN learn by himself (Ava and Jake learned pretty fast on their own). Sam seems to always use it at least even a bit when he needs or wants to help Dean (ie. in Nightmare when Max locked him in the closet and he had a vision on Max shooting Dean, and freaked out and moved what was bocking the closet). Plus Dean is still uneasy a bit about Ruby because either way she is a demon and all he knows about them are that they are evil. The shot of Dean seeing Sam's face distorted is something that others see when they make a deal with the cross roads demon and their deal is almost up too. Yeah, it was a bit rocky, but there wasn't really any that I hated. But, I think 2 of the best were Jus in Bello and the finale, and a few others I liked too.I'm hoping season 4 will be the best. Eric Kripke said that we will learn the connection between Mary and the YED near the beginning of season 4 (about time)

Re: Supernatural - Season Finale - Spoilers
So I watched it again last night and had a few questions answers. I still missed the part where Dean thought he saw a demon face on Sam. Darn kids talking to you. :-) But I thought Sam killed Lillith with the knife but before he could stab her she went screaming out of the body so she is still "alive" and I suppose this means that Ruby can reuse that body since it wasn't "killed" by Sam. I'm pretty sure Lillith won't give up trying. Enjoyed it just as much the second time around although the little things bug me like the shape of that cake the mother made. Jeez woman, don't you know you cut the hump off the cake before you ice it so its flat? LOL It looked like a nuclear warhead.

Re: Supernatural - Season Finale - Spoilers
I think the YED is Sam's real father, not John Winchester. Time will tell, of course, if I'm right. About the finale... with the exception of what happened to Dean, it wasn't a particularly strong finish, imo. If I had to rate it, maybe a 7 out of 10. Bobby's absence in the final few scenes was sort of a mystery to me. He went through the trouble of disabling Dean's car to prevent the boys from leaving without him and, later, he was responsible for (what I assume was) the Holy Water in the sprinklers keeping the demons outside away from the house, but when he was needed most, why wasn't he anywhere near Sam & Dean and the confrontation with Lilith? Also, Dean saw the face of Lilith when it was possessing the little girl, but why was he unable to tell the difference between her and Ruby until he was trying to keep the hellhound at bay? I know they tried to explain this with Dean's comment about all demons looking alike, but the timing seemed a little convenient to me. Anyway, enough with the nit-picking... what I liked most was what has kept me with this show since the beginning: the interplay between the brothers. If it wasn't for this aspect, I would have given up on Supernatural a long time ago. Jensen & Jared are so compelling and believable as the Winchester boys, you'd have a hard time believing they weren't brothers in real life. Just goes to show how choice of actors can make or break a series... even when the writing gets a little lacklustre, these two guys can and do carry the show.

Well actually, I'm pretty positive that Bobby shot Ruby in the first episode of season 3, The Magnificent Seven, so I'm not sure about her going into that body again

I think A LOT of people who have suspected that about Sam. There are women in like myth and legends, whatever, who had children with devils and what not, so could be, she obviously knew him already. About Bobby, a lot of people are bugged by this. However after Bobby blesses the water and sets of the sprinklers and while Sam, Dean And Ruby are in that other house it shows Bobby in another home and looking at his clock right before the deal is up. He can't get to them because it shows that there is a bunch of humans possessed by demons standing outside the house the others are in. So he can't really go in gracefully or anything. Also, I don't recall Dean seeing the face of Lilith when she was possessing the little girl, he was putting the father in the basement or what have you came upstairs before Sam was going to stab her and told him Lilith wasn't in her anymore, which means he saw HER and no demon while looking at her. Then in the case with Ruby he just explained it as all of them looking the same to him
I definitely agree with the chemistry and interaction between both Jared and Jensen on screen, very believable as borthers

I remember Bobby being somewhere else when the sprinklers go off, but couldn't remember where... so how did he manage to operate the sprinkler system in front of the house Sam & Dean were in from a completely different house? Or was he in the garage/shed of the main house? A little confused on that one... Also, I don't recall Dean seeing the face of Lilith when she was possessing the little girl, he was putting the father in the basement or what have you came upstairs before Sam was going to stab her and told him Lilith wasn't in her anymore, which means he saw HER and no demon while looking at her. Dean is the one who identifies the little girl as being possessed by Lilith in the first place. He, Sam & Bobby are looking in the window of the house from across the street, from what I can remember... it's just before he identifies the mailman and other neighbours as demons too.

Im not too sure about the house but Im pretty positive when he looks out the window he's across from the house they are in because he sees the back of all the demons outside. And he blesses the water and throws the rosary in what is probably the water pipe or something
Oh yeah, that is right he does say "it's" is in her when he looks in the window but it looks like they are in another sorta building or something looking out a window I re watched, (if you wanna go to youtube and look up Supernatural 3x16 - "No Rest For The Wicked" Part 4) and Im positive Bobby is in a house across from them

Re: Supernatural - Season Finale - Spoilers
Hi I am new here so here it goes. I love the show and I could watch it for a very long time and I hope it will stay more longer. With so many people who love this show I don't see how they can take it off. But to re. I think Sam will use his power that is the point. Also I think that with his power he could take over the world but I would think that it would be for the best. I believe his brother wouldn't kill Sammy they are a family who care for each other and love each other. P.S. Please don't take this show off the air! starvenusgram05
